So my hair looks like crap most of the time because it’s really frizzy and gets tangled. I wish I was more girly, but unfortunately I’m not. Just simple and basic with no fuss. So, I got the Unbrush to see what all the hype was about. I know, I know. you’re thinking: ‘Another hairbrush? Really?’ But hear me out. This one’s different. The other day I had nothing planned except to watch some movies. It’s one of my favorite things to do. But my hair? It’s a tangled mess. Usually, I’d just throw it into a bun and call it a day, because it’s easy and I can be real lazy sometimes. This time though, I decided to change things up a bit. I hate brushing my hair but it was different this time. I just assumed the brush was just like any other brush. But I was wrong. The bristles are flexible and don’t snag, so it just glides through my hair. I was happy about that because I remember being a little kid in the early 80s and crying because it always felt like my mom was yanking the brush through my hair. But this brush? No pain, no frustration, just smooth hair in a few minutes. Like last week, I didn’t want to leave the house but I had some errands that I had to go do. I was in my usual jeans and hoodie, just trying to get out the door without looking like a total train wreck. My hair was a tangled disaster, but ran the Unbrush through my hair and I didn’t have to put it up in an ugly bun. It’s like this brush was made for people like me who just want things to be simple and efficient. The handle is comfortable to hold and it’s lightweight, which I appreciate because who wants to feel like they’re lifting weights while brushing their hair? My hair is thick, course and heavy enough as is. And for those of you with different hair types – straight, wavy, curly – this brush works across the board. I’m actually jealous of all you lovely ladies who have those gorgeous curly locks. But anyway, my hair is on the thicker side, and the brush handles it no problem. I have also dropped the brush on the floor several times because let’s be real, I can’t seem to hold on to anything without dropping it for whatever reason. But hey, at least the brush is still holding up. Cleaning it is super easy too – the bristles pop out, so you can get rid of any hair buildup without a hassle. Now if someone could create me a brush like this that also regrows the thinning parts of my hair, I would throw money at them. |
